About JoyGothic

Why I Started
I didn’t grow up with hobbies or art classes. Things were tight, and survival came first. But deep down, I longed for something quiet, slow, and honest.
Years later, I found handmade crafts. Not by chance, but because I needed it. Making things with my hands gave me a way to breathe.
Gothic style found me the same way. It spoke to the parts of me that felt heavy, different, tender, or dark. The mix of softness and edge, decay and beauty, that’s where I feel most honest.
Now, crafting keeps me close to myself. I feel calm and alive. Lose track of time. Forget to eat. That’s how I know it’s real. I just want to keep making what I love and share it with those who get it.
What I Believe
JoyGothic is about expression. It’s about finding beauty in darkness and strength in softness. If you’ve ever felt a little out of place, or a little too much, this space is for you.
Here, I believe:
- You can be whoever you want to be
- You don’t have to fit in to belong
- Softness and rebellion can live in the same heart
- We are all trying our best not to lose ourselves
- You are already enough
We are wild. We are tender. We are art in motion. And we are never alone.

Craftsmanship
Every piece goes through a thoughtful, hands-on process:
- Shaping the clay by hand
- Air-drying until fully hardened
- Sculpting and sanding for detail
- Hand-painting with layered tones
- Attaching charms and pendants
- Sealing for protection and durability
- Pairing with beads, chains, or leather
- Final assembly and finishing touches
It’s slow work. But it’s worth every second.
Notes
All pieces in this shop are completely handmade. That means:
- They may show tiny imperfections
- Brush marks, seal lines, or slight unevenness in shape or texture are normal
- Colors may vary a little
- No two pieces are ever exactly the same
If you’re looking for something perfect like it came from a factory, this might not be the place. But if you’re drawn to things that feel honest, made with care, and full of character, then welcome. You’re in the right place.

Made to Order
There’s no ready stock. I start creating your piece only after you place your order, so what you get is fresh from my hands, not pulled from a shelf. That’s the kind of slow art I believe in.
Processing Time
Handmade takes time. It usually takes 3 to 7 days, depending on the order queue. Everything is made with intention, just for you. Thanks for your patience while I put love into every detail.
30-Day Money-Back
Not satisfied? You can return it within 30 days. As each piece is handmade, minor imperfections add to its unique charm. I appreciate your understanding if it’s not a serious issue.
