These Christmas necklaces bring together nine weird doll pendants, each sculpted by hand from soft clay and baked for durability. Every piece has its own personality, from wide-eyed innocence to chaotic holiday madness. You’ll find twisted braids, smudged makeup, bright candy-colored hair, bruised pastel tones, tiny horns, clown noses, dripping paint textures, and Santa hats that feel straight out of an eerie fairytale. These aren’t polished factory clones. They’re raw, expressive, imperfect in all the right ways, and made to stand out against the overload of traditional holiday jewelry.
Whether you’re gifting a gothic friend or refreshing your own winter wardrobe, these Christmas necklaces tap into that mix of nostalgia and rebellion so many holiday shoppers crave. They’re the perfect clash of cute and creepy, carrying the messy magic of handmade art you can feel when you hold them. Because each piece is sculpted, glazed, and finished by hand, no two faces are ever identical. The tiny bubbles in the resin, faint texture lines from the baking process, and slight color variations are part of their charm.
Materials
These holiday necklaces are made from soft clay, shaped and detailed entirely by hand, then baked at high heat for strength. Each pendant features individual characteristics inspired by the nine designs shown in the collection:
Santa hats in different shapes, some glossy and some weathered
Wide, expressive eyes that range from bright candy colors to washed-out ghostly tones
Unique hairstyles including twisted pigtails, braids, frizzy curls, pastel streaks, and short cropped clown cuts
Painted features such as smeared blush, distressed skin tones, freckles, tiny horns, glitter accents, and theatrical clown makeup
A style palette blending Christmas red and green with gothic blacks, bruised blues, eerie yellows, and unsettling soft pinks
NOTE:
Every pendant is slightly different due to the handmade process. Small resin bubbles, subtle clay textures, and natural color shifts are normal and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Photos are taken of the actual items, but lighting and screen variations may cause slight color differences.

Care Instructions
- Avoid water: These are not waterproof. Take them off before swimming, showering, or sweating it out.
- Keep them dry: If they get damp, gently wipe them with an alcohol pad and let them fully air dry.
- Store properly: Place in a soft pouch or jewelry box when not in use.
- Be gentle when cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid chemicals. For metal parts, a slightly damp cloth is fine.
- Avoid scratching: Keep them away from sharp edges or rough surfaces.
- No perfumes or lotions: Don’t spray directly or apply cream over them. Let your skin dry first.
- Avoid chemicals and heavy work: Don’t wear while cleaning, doing chores, or handling harsh substances. Sweat, detergents, and friction can damage the finish or cause oxidation over time.
- Even high-quality metals like solid gold, sterling silver, or gold-plated parts may naturally oxidize and darken over time with wear.
NOTE
Each piece is 100% handmade in my home studio. From mixing colors to shaping and detailing, every step is done by hand.
You might notice tiny marks, slight variations, or a bit of asymmetry, that’s part of the charm.
No two are exactly the same. It’s not a flaw, it’s what makes each one unique.
My work is 100% original. If you see similar items elsewhere, they’re not made with the same materials, or the same care. JoyGothic is the only official source.

About Me
I’m a deeply emotional and sometimes pessimistic person. Making handmade pieces has been my healing, it’s where I find joy so real that I often lose track of time and forget to eat. I just want to do what I love and support myself, so my prices reflect that balance.
When I first started selling online, I faced a lot of pain from stolen designs and copycats. It was tough. I cried more than once. But the kindness and support from strangers like you kept me going. You’re more than customers, you’re friends I haven’t met yet.
This little shop is a piece of my healing. I hope it brings you a piece of yours, too. Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
